This week’s message, part of “Rise of the Royals,” moved from extended worship into a focused call to live an “action by faith” life. Centering on 1 Samuel 16, Abrianna unpacked the phrase “an evil spirit from the Lord,” argued that God does not send evil, and showed how Jesus and the apostles interpret such passages. She then pressed the church to see every believer as a minister, to “rightly divide” Scripture, and to carry the message of reconciliation everywhere. The service closed with public prayer, prophetic encouragement, and a fresh commissioning.

Church isn’t meant to be a once-a-week experience — the Word keeps walking with us through the week.

Welcome back, friends 🤍
Over the next few days, we’re going to continue sitting with this week’s message together through scripture, reflection, prayer, journaling, and practical application. My hope is that these devotionals help us slow down, stay rooted, and carry Sunday’s revelation into everyday life. Let’s dive in!

Day 4: Carry the Message

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

2 Corinthians 5:17-20

For the past week days, the Lord has been rebuilding you from the inside out. He remains. He is worthy at midnight. You are not alone in the hidden place. He will finish what He started. Now the journey turns outward. During this week’s Sunday service, worship was not just emotion in a room. It became a summons.

God was not merely comforting weary people. He was reminding them who they are. If He has sustained you, strengthened you, and kept you, then He is also sending you. You are not only someone being helped by grace. You are someone meant to carry it.

In Christ, believers are made ambassadors, entrusted with the ministry of reconciliation. An ambassador does not speak on personal authority, but on behalf of the one who sent him. That means your life is no longer just about survival, self-protection, or private spirituality. God has drawn near to you so that through you, others might hear His appeal. The same Lord who met you in worship, corrected lies, and strengthened your assignment now calls you to represent His heart in the world.

You are not just a church attender, not just someone trying to make it through another week, not just a person recovering from discouragement. In Christ, you carry heaven's message into ordinary places. That changes how you see your words, your reactions, your relationships, and even your conflicts. To be an ambassador of reconciliation means you do not spread division, bitterness, or hopelessness. You live as someone who has been reconciled to God and now reflects His peace. You do not save anyone by your own power, but you do bear witness to the Savior with your life.

So today, speak and live reconciliation. Ask the Lord to show you one place where your witness needs to become visible, maybe through a needed apology, a gracious conversation, a refusal to repeat strife, or a clear word about Jesus to someone who needs hope. Do not wait for a stage. Carry the message where you already are.

If you truly belong to Christ, how will you represent Him in one relationship or conversation today?

Let’s pray

Heavenly Father, You are holy, faithful, and full of mercy. You are the God who reconciles sinners to Yourself through Jesus and makes Your children carriers of Your peace.

I confess that I often think too small about my calling. I shrink back, stay silent, or let fear, irritation, and self-focus shape my witness more than Your love.

Thank You for saving me, drawing near to me, and not leaving me to myself. Thank You for Christ, who made peace by His cross and gave me a new identity in Him.

Holy Spirit, help me speak and live reconciliation today. Make me gentle, truthful, and bold.

Show me where to repair what is broken, where to speak of Jesus, and how to represent Him well in every conversation. Amen.

See you tomorrow!
