SALT Monthly Meetup Recap: April Highlights ✨
Hi SALT Family!
What an incredible time we had together at our April meetup! A huge thank you to everyone who showed up, leaned in, asked questions, and helped create such a welcoming and Spirit-filled atmosphere. Whether you were with us in person or are catching up now — we’re so glad you’re part of this journey!
Here’s a quick recap of some of the highlights:
🌟 Teaching Topic: The Word of Knowledge
We dove deep into 1 Corinthians 12 and explored the supernatural gift of the Word of Knowledge — a revelation from the Holy Spirit concerning facts about a person, situation, or event that could not have been known naturally. We learned that this gift is meant to:
Reveal God's care and love
Bring direction or clarity
Expose hidden issues for healing and restoration
Encourage and build up the Body of Christ
Pastor Ricky reminded us that these gifts are never for selfish gain — they are for the common good of the community.
We also discussed the importance of balance:
Charisma without character leads to chaos, but charisma with character leads to Christlike impact.

1 Corinthians 12:1-11
John 4 (Jesus and the Samaritan woman — a beautiful example of the Word of Knowledge at work!)
✨ Big Takeaways:
The gifts are meant to flow in love and order, not confusion or pride.
We must be good stewards of the gifts God has entrusted to us, whether seen or unseen.
Daily spiritual “manna” (fresh bread from God) is essential for hearing and discerning His voice clearly!
There were so many powerful moments of insight, encouragement, and even laughter throughout our time together. It’s clear that God is building something beautiful among us!

We’re thrilled to announce that one of our very own SALT Leaders, Tondenisha Coleman, will be bringing the Word at our May meetup!
She'll be teaching on the gift of Discerning of Spirits — an essential and timely topic for today’s believers.
